Home for the Games launches
Home for the Games launched today. Hosts and visitors coming together for home stays, celebration and a good cause.
Seven25 was responsible for the identity and website design and development of homeforthegames.com. This portal for the new not-for-profit aims to connect local Vancouver homeowners wanting to share their home with international or Canadian visitors during the 2010 Olympics and opting to give 50% of the proceeds to charities fighting homelessness.
The press conference this morning, put together by the great team at Home for the Games, was a huge success by all accounts drawing 7 television stations and garnering printed press articles from over 7 newspapers including the Globe and Mail, Vancouver Sun and Province, Metro, 24 and the tyee.
